Not seldom won but this game is unusual - I believe one overlooked factor is to consider what can simply be sent home as a means of clearing a column. In this case hearts was the key suit.

That means it *is* winnable.  If it wasn't, you would have lost zero points.  And the elo of the game itself would be 5000 - or close to it - not 1986, which is what it shows in your play record.

Wow, looking at the 6x5 337/3/0.9%.  I hadn't remembered ever seeing a below 1% before.

But I looked on an old laptop at some screenshots I had taken, and found a game I won back in 2012 - over 10 years ago - that was just slightly higher than your game.  (7x4-5 31484; at that time it was 216/2/0.93%; is there way to check it now w/o playing it?).

I understand the point about moving it, but I there is only an overall correlation between level and how hard it is.  I think levels were assigned before there were any % stats.

Thanks for the tip, roo. I can see why a lot of people would've been tempted by that Ace  and it's possible I'd have done the same if I hadn't read your comment before trying it. Still a tad tricky even after that, but certainly a game for the more patient of players!

Even after two open columns it was still stubborn. Putting the 2C in an empty column did the trick.
