Well there were 1000 ways to go on that one, with twists and turns and side streets everywhere! And I take my time. It was a fun one. I'd like to see the good top players try it out!

Just played two 9x1s, which both took an identical time of 10:33. First one was 36/1 after I'd played it, and the second was 35/25, but they both seemed equally difficult to me. This game can be pretty humbling at times!

This one took me nearly 2 hours:

I messed up the play on this one, and as I stared at it in utter dispair, I suddenly realized that there might still be another (obscure) solution.  And sure enough, after about 40 more moves, there it was.  Whew, whew, whew,!

There's apparently stuff I can't see.

It seems to think almost everything is misspelled, and I can't even delete unnecessary blank lines!

Surprising, and fun game:

Hard game, but this was surprising - including that elo number.  Is this a game, or variant, from the batch that didn't get properly rated?  Doesn't really matter to me; just curious.  That value just looks suspiciously default-ish, for the obvious reason.

That rating is in line with others from that game level, just happens to round to an even 1500. Player ratings start at 1500, but game ratings do not. Previously unrated games get the average for their game level to start. This one was already rated.

So that's just purely a coincidence, if I understand correctly?  Thanks.

Here's the problem, Ellie2, in case it hasn't been 'splained to you........

You won that game, assumedly using cards, or some other manor of external aid.  Ok.  Now suppose I, or anybody else, subsequently draws that game, and playing carefully but skillfully, happens to win it.  Instead of showing 1/75, or 1/76, or whatever, instead it shows 2/76.  Your cheating has robbed them of a first ascent, which is a rare occurrence of that magnitude.  And besides that, some additional elo points. But the main thing is you've 'stolen' a possible first ascent by a legitimate player.  Bad form.
